For relationships to last a lifetime, couples must believe in honesty and commitment. If they are not committed to trying to improve their lives and remaining in the relationship for the duration of their life then there are no relationships that will a lifetime. For good relationships to work, there must be a continual amount of communication involved because the reading of minds is not possible even in the best of relationships.
There are simply two people involved in relationships and the other extra bodies might need to keep their thoughts to themselves. If the two people involved in relationships can not deal with a problem, perhaps their parents can provide a solution to their problem. There are many relationships that started out as friendship relationships. Through time spent together, the attraction for each other grew to form lasting relationships for both parties involved.
Many people think that relationships are molded with sand. The sand can filter the relationships into any mold they want to force them into. If people truly valued their relationships they would have respect for the people involved in them. They would not take friendship relationships for granted, or assume that their marriage relationships were fine when they are not.
Some people are unable to form relationships. They are introverted individuals who can not make themselves go out into society to meet other people. Through the help of therapists, however, they can lead very fulfilling lives and form as many relationships as they want to. When people are able to keep the lines of communication open, there is no telling what types of relationships they can form.
There is a popularity contest at grade school that gauges the number of friendships a person has to the level of popularity that they have at school. These friendship relationships are taken lightly the young girls and very seriously by the parents, who are focused on their child being selected for a slot on the cheerleading team.
While friendship relationships come and go as children grow older and go from one teaching environment to the other, those children that grow up not being recognized by many groups of children may develop an inferiority complex and turn into some of the introverted individuals that will need therapy sessions sometime in their future. All children should be accepted into some type of group relationships, whether it is on the playground, classroom or even the cheerleading squad.
